Prime Minister Imran Khan says that a strategy has been prepared to appease the business community’s concerns about the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The government is fully committed to providing all possible facilities to the business community.

The prime minister announced this while chairing a meeting with a delegation of business leaders belonging to various trade and industry chambers, as well as the current and former presidents, at the PM Office.

The prime minister said that a strategy has been formulated to resolve the matters of the business community as the country’s future is linked with a strong economy. He said that a close and solid partnership between the government and business community is important for national development, adding that “their success is mutual”.

The members apprised the Prime Minister of the problems faced by the business community and also presented their proposals in this regard.

Meanwhile, in his meeting with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the premier said that Pakistan’s development is linked to the economy and added that the government is committed to providing “all possible facilities” to the business community for profitable business activities.

The meeting was attended by PM’s Adviser on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Commerce Adviser Abdul Razaq Dawood, Chairman Board of Investment Zubair Gilani and senior officials.

The presidents of Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Karachi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Faisalabad gave suggestions to the prime minister on boosting business activity, particularly on increasing exports.

The delegation lauded the prime minister’s policy of maintaining regular interaction with traders and his policy of taking the stakeholders on board.
