Huawei is undergoing one of its management reshuffling phases again, and consequently, the tech giant’s CEO Ren Zhengfei has officially stepped down for the Huawei’s director board and CEO duties. The shuffling does not stop here, the company’s chairman Sun Yafang has also resigned from the post and his duties as the legal representative of Huawei.

In addition to this, the Rotating Chairman Xu Zhijun, Chen Zhidong, and Dong Qingyang have also given up their posts and will be stepping down from their crucial roles at Huawei.

For now, Guo Ping will be taking over the position of Rotating and Acting Chairman for the company as well as the head of the Board of directors and the Executive Committee.

The reshuffling of the top management in Chinese companies, specifically Huawei, is not something new. The company has witnessed several significant management changes since its procurement. It is not wrong to say that management reshuffling has become a part of the way Huawei operates.

The main reason behind this shift in management is to prevent stagnant and mundane creativity. If the same management resides over a company for long, loss of fresh ideas is inevitable. Hence, as society keeps shifting, the company’s management must shift to keep the flow of fresh ideas coming.
