Employee safety during Covid-19 lockdown

Ibex was deemed an essential service during the Covid-19 lockdown and did its part in helping employees keep their job and create a safe environment when the economy was going downhill. The company, with bold and timely measures, kept its employees safe while helping curtail the spread of the pandemic.

Among various measures that the company took to help keep its workforce delivering safely included strict sanitization and social distancing measures. The entire site and transport fleet were disinfected every day, a certain percentage of the workforce was allowed to work from home, and the use of face masks was made mandatory.

Moreover, employees who felt unwell were asked to stay at home and work remotely. Temperature checks were performed for all incoming people. Elevators were exclusively operated by the staff and biometric systems were temporarily disabled. Hand sanitizers were installed across all sites and all client meetings were restricted to be web only.

So, we don’t have high attrition as some people think, and those who perform, stick with us for long periods, which is most of the employees,” he adds.
