The governments of Punjab and Sindh have stepped up efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus in their provinces.
According to Punjab’s Interior department, recovered Coronavirus patients will only be allowed to embark on an intercity journey and return home only after testing negative for the virus.
Those who have completed the 14 days isolation period and recovered from the disease will be given form A and B by the department which would help them to return to their homes during the lockdown.
Anyone entering the province will also be required to submit a form.

The rest of the population of the province will be required to observe Section 144 enforced by the government.
Meanwhile, Sindh’s transport minister, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, has said that intercity and interprovincial taxi rides will be subject to NOC from the SHO of the concerned police station.
Any vehicle traveling without a NOC issued by the SHO will be confiscated, said the transport minister.

Intercity and interprovincial taxi rides will be allowed only in emergency situations and unnecessary travel is strictly discouraged during the lockdown.
Moreover, a taxi will be allowed only to have just two persons; driver and passenger. Any vehicle with more than two persons will also be seized.
There are 5,500 cases of COVID-19 in Pakistan, according to the latest reports. 2,600 of those are in Punjab while 1,500 are in Sindh.
