Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 13th edition is currently being played in the UAE behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Yesterday, Delhi Capitals took on Mumbai Indians during the 27th match which was held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Delhi had won the toss and decided to bat first.

However, a tweet from the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians after the first over of the match sparked rumors of match-fixing.
Here is what Mumbai Indians tweeted:
Pattinson is sharing the new ball with Boult!
DC- 163/5 (19.5)
Although Mumbai Indians Twitter handle had mistakenly shared the final score of Rajasthan Royals from the previous contest at the end of the first over of their game, Delhi Capitals, coincidentally, posted 162 for 4 at the end of the 20 overs, which further corroborated the match-fixing rumors.
While the tweet was deleted immediately, Twitterati have alleged that the three-time IPL champions are involved in match-fixing.
