Honor, Huawei’s subsidiary, has come up with another all-rounder budget-friendly smartphone dubbed the ‘Honor 20 Lite’. Previously, the smartphone was supposed to launch on 15th October but it turns out that it was a ‘Chinese to English’ translation issue.

Note that Honor already has a different Honor 20 Lite phone available globally. This is a different phone and will be exclusive to China as far as the rumors go.

The smartphone will be launched on 22nd October, based on numerous teaser posters posted on Weibo by the company’s official account.

The teaser images hint at an in-display fingerprint sensor, a punch-hole camera positioned at the top center, an AMOLED display, and a unique blue-pink gradient.

Even though an in-display fingerprint sensor is pretty common in mid-range smartphones, the Honor 20 Lite will be Honor’s 2nd smartphone to feature one. The first one being the Magic 2 Slider exclusive to China.

Specifications (Rumored)

The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 810 7nm processor topped with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage.

Camera-wise, Honor 20 Lite is expected to feature a triple sensor rear camera with a 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP configuration and a 16 MP camera at the front.

As far as the software is concerned, the phone will most probably run on EMUI 9.1.1 skinned Android 9.0 Pie.
