The recent crackdown against the pilots and the administration involved in issuing dubious pilot licenses has started to yield results, as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been allowed to partially resume its operations for Britain.

The national flag carrier will begin its flights to London, Manchester, and Birmingham from August 14. PIA will announce the flight schedule for these cities in the next couple of days.

This will be a welcoming move for passengers as following the ban on PIA, private airlines had increased their fares significantly.

PIA is resuming its flights to the UK. Now PIA passengers would again be able to fly direct between Pakistan and three destinations in the United Kingdom.
