TransPeshawar announced on Tuesday the initiation of the 4th feeder route for the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service.

According to a media report, the new feeder route will offer the facility to the inhabitants of the southern parts of the district of Peshawar.

Initially, 10 buses will be rolled out on the said route, and the timings of the service will be from 6 AM to 10 PM, a spokesperson told the media. Furthermore, the fare charges for the initial five kilometers will be Rs. 10, and an additional Rs. 5 will be added to it for every additional five kilometers traveled onwards.

The report also states that the fare charge for a single journey will be integrated, meaning that no separate fare will be charged in case passengers need to switch buses.

The spokesperson also said that the service will allow for easy and quick access to the interior city. The passengers can catch a direct route bus from Dabgari Garden to Kohat Adda and conveniently switch from one bus to another at the BRT station, Dabgari.

The new feeder route will link the Kohat Adda to the interior city and will allow comfortable access to several commercial areas, educational institutions, and residential areas located along Kohat Road.

A network of seven feeder routes (of which three are in Hayatabat) joins several major roads to the BRT that will be of convenience to the entire region.
