Poor organization and lack of communication have left national athletes baffled at the National Games in Peshawar. Hajra Khan, the captain of Pakistan’s Woman Football Team revealed this in a tweet.
According to her, she had a game scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday. The team got to the stadium at 9:30 am only to find out that the match has been rescheduled for 2 pm.

PFF conveyed this revision to the officials yesterday over WhatsApp which was not directly passed on to the teams or players.#nationalgames2019 pic.twitter.com/0GJia3Zhgp— Hajra Khan (@hajrakn) November 13, 2019
What surprised her the most was the fact that the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) had informed the officials about the revised schedule a day earlier but it was not communicated to the teams.
The revised schedule available on WhatsApp was not passed on to the team captain or players which forced them to spend the morning in the stadium, where no refreshment or other facilities were available.
In another tweet, she also questioned the duration of the game, the food, and the field size.
Field size – (50×90)
Last min match duration change – from 45 minutes to 35 minutes.
Food served not fit for athletes' consumption.
