The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has announced that the final examination schedule for classes 1 to 8, according to which the examinations will be conducted between 16 and 31 May.
The subjects for which the examinations will be taken are English, Mathematics, Science, Urdu, Computer, History, Geography, and Social Sciences, and their results will be announced on 10 June.

According to a PEC official, the commission will provide the question paper for the one-hour long examinations that will consist of 25 short questions for 50 marks, with each question carrying equal marks. Additional marks out of a total of 50 will be awarded on the basis of the students’ homework.
The students of classes 1 and 2 will be exempted from this pattern as their examinations will be conducted orally instead.

Meanwhile, the examinations for classes 9 and 10 across Punjab will begin on 4 May, and the Intermediate examinations will commence on 12 June.
The Matriculation results will be announced on 31 August, and the results of the Intermediate examinations will be released on 30 September.
