The Punjab Education Department has released the schedule for the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations for all the boards across the province.

A notification was issued over the weekend in this regard, according to which, the annual Matriculation examinations will begin on 4 May and the Intermediate examinations will commence from 12 June.

The Matriculation examination results will be announced on 31 August, and the results of the Intermediate examinations will be issued on 30 September.

Last week, the Punjab School Education Department announced the examination schedule for Classes 1 to 8. A notification issued on 11 February detailed that the examinations for the primary and elementary classes will be held in the last week of May.

Meanwhile, the Government of Sindh has delayed the examination schedules for the Matriculation and Intermediate levels. They had previously been scheduled for the months of June and July respectively, but have now been postponed to the next consecutive months.

Sindh’s Minister for Education, Saeed Ghani, had announced on 30 January that the examinations for classes 9 and 10 (Matriculation) will commence from July 1 and the examinations for classes 11 and 12 (Intermediate) will commence from 28 July.
