After weeks of teasers and leaks, Realme has finally made the entry-level C17 official side by side with the Narzo 20 lineup. Despite being an entry-level device, the Realme C17 has a 90Hz display and a quad-camera setup, making it one of the cheapest phones out there to feature a 90Hz screen.

Design and Display

As mentioned before, the 6.5-inch LCD has a 90Hz refresh rate with HD+ resolution and a punch-hole front camera in the corner. The display has small bezels for an entry-level phone.

The back features the recently popularized rectangle camera bump with four lenses akin to the Huawei P40 and Samsung Galaxy S20 Series. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and a glossy finish.

Internals and Storage

Despite having an entry-level chipset, the 11nm Snapdragon 460, and only a 1.8GHz CPU, the phone still brings up to 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1, which is miles ahead of what other entry-level phones bring these days. You get Android 10 fresh out of the box but there is no mention of future upgrades.

Cameras

The camera setup on the rear includes a 13MP main sensor with a wide-angle lens, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens for closeup photograph, and another 2MP camera for portrait shots. This camera can record 1080p videos at 30 FPS.

The front camera is an 8MP shooter that can also record 1080p 30FPS videos.

Battery and Pricing

One of the highlight features of the Realme C17 is its large 5,000 mAh battery that should easily last through 2 days of use thanks to its low-power internals. It also comes with 18W fast charging so you don’t need to worry about slow charging due to a large battery.

The device will go for sale on September 22 in Lake Green or Navy Blue colors for $190.
