Xiaomi Pakistan is going to launch the bestseller Redmi series with the all-new and upgraded Redmi 8 smartphone with improvements on all fronts. Redmi 8 will be available for sale on Daraz.pk on 28th November and pre-booking on Mistore.pk will start from 28th November. Mi exclusive stores will be offering Piston Basic earbuds to the first 500 Redmi 8 buyers, free of cost. Price of Redmi 8 4GB + 64GB variant will be Rs. 23,999.

Battery Champion

Redmi 8 ships with a massive 5000mAh battery, allowing users long hours of usage with every single charge. Xiaomi has once again set the standard for better customer experience by introducing USB Type-C 18W fast charging support (10W fast charger inside the box) for the first time in this price segment. With the 5000mAh the device will have a two-day battery.

6.22-inch Display

Redmi 8 features an aspect ratio of 19:9, promising an immersive experience and overall ergonomics. Wrapped in glass-like materials, Redmi 8 provides a premium hands-on feel with a polished and glossy surface.

Camera & Performance

Redmi 8 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset as a processor. It offers a 2+1 dual SIM slot with dedicated microSD card support that allows storage expansion up to 512GB.

Redmi 8 features a 12MP camera, perfect for day-to-day snapshots. Redmi 8 also comes with a secondary 2MP camera – the dual camera setup offers depth-sensing portrait photos. On the front, it sports an 8MP selfie camera and both the front and rear cameras are capable of taking AI Portrait mode shots.

Xiaomi’s relentless focus on quality means that Redmi 8 comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, while it’s nano-coating makes the smartphone splash resistant. It also retains the popular feature which allows users to playback FM radio without the need of connecting their earphones. Redmi 8 even offers a convenient IR blaster for remote controlling compatible household electronics.

Redmi 8 comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue color variants. The 4GB+64GB variant will be priced at Rs. 23,999.
