Pakistan’s rising star, Shadab Khan, has joined the pre-season conditioning camp in Lahore under the leadership of camp commandant, Misbah-ul-Haq, after attending his teammate, Hasan Ali’s wedding ceremony.

The 20-year-old leg-spinner has showered praise on the former captain, saying that all the boys will learn a great deal from Misbah if he becomes the team’s coach.

He went on to say that he has already learned a lot from him during his stint with Islamabad United in the first three seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He said this at Gaddafi Stadium after joining the camp.

I have learned a lot from Misbah Ul Haq. If he becomes the coach, we will learn a lot from him.

The youngster vows to step up his game in the longest format of the game like the other two formats where he has been a regular striker for Pakistan.
