Haris Rauf won the hearts of fans as he apologized to Shahid Afridi after dismissing him in the 2nd Eliminator of PSL 5 on Sunday. Haris Rauf said that Shahid Afridi is a legend and he apologized as a sign of respect.

Haris Rauf struck twice during the crucial stages of the game to take the match away from Multan Sultans. He dismissed dangerous Rilee Rossouw thanks to David Wiese who took an exceptional catch and then got Afridi out the very next ball with an in-swinging yorker, sending him back to the pavilion on a golden duck.

I am usually much more aggressive after taking a wicket but when I dismissed Shahid bhai yesterday, it was different, he is a Pakistani superstar. He has performed exceptionally and won many games for Pakistan. So it was important that I show him some respect.

Shahid Afridi appreciated his gesture and lauded his brilliant bowling in the match. Afridi took to Twitter to show his appreciation.
