Pakistan — after averaging around 1400 for around a week — has added 1,841 new cases in last 24 hours; indicating that new cases are on the rise still and peak of the outbreak is no-where in the scenes.

Sindh remain the major contributor towards the new cases with 864 positive cases in a single day. Punjab added another 630 cases to the tally. KP, Balochistan and Islamabad added 169, 129 and 37 cases to the national tally in 24 hours.

Total number of positive cases reached 43, 966.

Pakistan saw 36 more fatalities yesterday as 16 patients died of coronavirus related complications in KP, another 13 in Punjab. Sindh reported 3 deaths while Islamabad and Balochistan reported 2 deaths each.

Total number of recovered patients stood at 12,489 with 567 new patients recovering from the virus were tested negative and discharged from the hospitals in last 24 hours.
