The original Tecno Spark Go from 2019 has just received an update for 2020. As the name suggests, the Tecno Spark Go 2020 runs on Android 10 Go Edition, which is a lite version of Android for entry-level devices. It not only features enhanced specifications but a design update as well.

Design and Display

The new Tecno Spark Go has a bigger 6.52-inch screen with HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch, and a large bottom bezel. The back has a dual camera sensor housed in a rectangular cutout and a fingerprint sensor in the center. The phone features a plastic build and will be available in Ice Jadeite and Aqua Blue color options.

Internals and Storage

The internals are powered by the MediaTek Helio A20 SoC with 2GB RAM just as before, but you can now have up to 32GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable by up to 256GB via a microSD card.

As mentioned earlier, the software front is covered by Android 10 Go Edition with HiOS 6.2 on top.

Cameras

The primary camera setup includes a 13MP main lens at the top, an LED flash in the middle, and a depth sensor at the bottom for portrait shots. The primary can record 1080p video clips at 30FPS. The front camera is an 8MP shooter.

Battery and Pricing

The massive 5,000 mAh battery should easily be able to keep the phone going for 2 to 3 days. However, since there is no fast charging available, the battery will take more than 2 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.

Tecno Spark Go Edition 2020 is set to go on sale on September 7 for only $90.
