The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has struck a deal with the traders’ associations after which they have agreed to call off the strike.

Small traders had called for a four-day strike starting from August 9 against FBR’s CNIC condition and call for sales tax registration.

According to chairman FBR Shabbar Zaidi, the revenue board has accepted traders’ demand to push the deadline until the end of September.
