Vivo has launched the Vivo U10 in a fresh new lineup targeted towards a younger audience. It is a gaming-focused smartphone with a large 5000 mAh battery to support long gaming sessions and an Ultra Gaming Mode which has features like 4D vibrations and a voice-changer.
The phone’s design is nothing out of the ordinary. There is the usual waterdrop notch at the top, with narrow side bezels and a thicker bottom bezel. The display size is 6.35 inches with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution.
The back houses a triple-lens primary camera aligned vertically in the corner, while the fingerprint reader is in the center of the back.
The phone will be available in Electric Blue and Thunder Black color options.
The Snapdragon 665 SoC based on the 11nm process features very good performance. The chipset features a 2.0GHz Octa-core processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The Adreno 610 GPU should easily be able to handle most games with ease.
It comes with FunTouch OS 9.1 on top of Android Pie fresh out of the box.
The primary camera setup is a combination of a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP super wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, and finally, a 2MP lens portrait lens for the bokeh effects. All cameras are equipped with various AI features.
The front camera inside the waterdrop notch is an 8MP f/1.8 lens for video chat and selfies.
As mentioned before, the Vivo U10 has hefty amounts of battery capacity. The large 5000 mAh power cell provides 12 hours of video playback, 7 hours of gaming and 15 hours of social media browsing. It also has support for 18W fast charging.
