Vivo is on a launching spree. After launching U10 in India this September, the company just launched Vivo S5 and revamped Vivo S1 Pro in China. Today the company launched the rebranded Vivo U3 in India as a successor to the Vivo U10. The smartphone comes with impressive mid-range specifications including a triple sensor rear camera and a large display.
Design-wise, the smartphone does not feature anything exciting. It has the typical Vivo two-toned S-shaped paint job. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the right of a vertically stacked triple sensor rear camera.
The Vivo U20 is built around a 6.53-inch FHD+(1080p) display with a waterdrop notch. The display panel is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 84.4% screen to body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 395 PPI pixel density.
Internally, the smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 675 SoC at the helm. The SoC is topped with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage.
On the software front, it runs on Funtouch 9.0 skinned Android 9.0 Pie.
The triple sensor rear camera features a 16 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with 120 degrees FOV and a 2 MP macro lens. At the front, it features a 16 MP single sensor for selfies.
The smartphone packs a huge 5000 mAh battery that comes with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging support.
The base variant (4GB/64GB) is priced at $155 while the mixed-up variant (6GB/64GB) is price at $169.
