Xiaomi has recently ventured into the gaming monitor market. The brand introduced Mi Surface Display in China with two differently sized monitors – a 23.8″ flat screen display, and a 34-inch curved display.
The Chinese tech firm is now launching a 29-inch variant with the same specifications as the 34-inch model. It will also have a curved display and will be priced somewhere in between the 23″ and 34″ models to bridge the gap.
The Mi Surface 34-inch has a display curvature of 1500R with 1440p screen resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a 144hz screen refresh rate, 4ms response time, and support for AMD Freesync, low Blur-Ray mode, and it covers 121 percent of the sRGB color gamut.
Reports claim that Xiaomi is using Samsung’s display technology for the Mi Surface Display monitors.
The display is shipped with a bracket for convenient height and rotation adjustments. The bracket and the monitor are magnetically snapped together for use.
The Mi Surface 34-inch is currently priced at $357, hence the 29-inch model is expected to arrive at a price of something between $300-$330.
Release dates and availability are currently unknown.
