Last month, XDA-Developers while performing an APK teardown of The beta version of the MIUI 11, discovered that the company is working on an upcoming Xiaomi phone with support for 8K (7680×4320) video recording at 30 FPS.

Two weeks later, as the first beta of MIUI 11 is rolled out, the people over at XDA-Developers decided to do another APK teardown of the build. During the process, they discovered a display refresh rate toggle setting which had 120 Hz. This almost confirms that the Chinese giant is working on a smartphone with a 120 Hz refresh rate display. Currently, only Razer phones and Asus ROG phone II feature such displays.

Based on the information found via the APK teardown, folks at the XDA-Developers also found out that the company is planning to offer a telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom in its upcoming devices. On top of this, the menu also reveals the presence of ultra-telephoto mode with 50x digital/hybrid zoom.

Xiaomi, on the other hand, has remained quiet about all these new features. Also, there is no indication that these features will be incorporated into the same device.
