Zahida Awan has been promoted as the Chief Business Development Officer by the management of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL).

She has been serving as the Executive Vice President Legal Affairs for more than 10 years prior to becoming a part of C-level management. She retains the charge of the legal affairs department of the company along with her new assignment.

Ms. Awan is also one of the trustees of Pakistan Telecommunication Employee Trust appointed by the management of PTCL.

She has previously served K Electric as Deputy Chief Legal Officer and Head of Legal Affairs at Tuwairqi Steel Mills Limited.

Ms. Awan received her education from SM Law College, Preston University, and St Joseph College Karachi. She acquired various certifications from different universities
