An individual has been shifted to an isolation room in the team hotel after he tested positive for COVID-19.

As per the PCB COVID-19 protocols, the entire squad, to which the individual belonged, underwent COVID-19 tests earlier in the day and all members returned negative results.

The individual will stay in isolation until he returns two negative results.

This is the second instance that an unnamed individual has been quarantined after testing positive for the virus. International stars, including Mahmudullah and James Vince, will also miss the PSL playoffs after they were diagnosed with COVID-19 in pre-departure tests.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi’s head coach, Darren Sammy will not land in Pakistan in time for the first Eliminator against Lahore Qalandars due to logistical constraints.
