High temperatures and humidity is expected in most parts of the country with partly cloudy conditions in upper parts of Punjab and the northern areas.
In Lahore and its suburbs, dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed which will continue for the next 24 hours.
According to the Met Office, weak monsoon currents are entering the upper parts of the country. A weak westerly wave will hit the upper parts of the country, which is likely to continue for the next two to three days.
However, some isolated parts in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Sargodha divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan are expected to receive scattered rain.
On Friday, the rainfalls were recorded in only two places across the country – Mangla and Bagrote. The highest temperature was recorded in Sibbi where the Mercury touched 45°C.
