The Nokia 1.4 has been announced as a direct successor to last year’s Nokia 1.3 with a bigger display and battery, but the same price tag. The Nokia 1.4 is already up for sale for only €99, meaning that it should be arriving in Pakistan shortly.
The screen is a 6.51-inch LCD panel with 720p resolution and the usual entry-level phone look. There is a waterdrop notch for the front-facing camera and a large bottom bezel with Nokia’s brand name.
The large circular rear camera module holds two lenses and an LED flash in the middle. There is a fingerprint sensor just beneath it.
The main chipset is the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor. This is paired with up to 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
You get Android 10 Go Edition on the first boot, but it is upgradable to Android 11 straight away.
The main camera setup includes an 8MP main sensor and a 2MP macro camera for closeup shots. This camera is able to record 720p videos at 30FPS. It can also capture HDR photos.
The front camera housed in the waterdrop notch is a 5MP shooter also capable of 720p video recording.
The 3,000 mAh battery on Nokia 1.3 has been upgraded to a 4,000 mAh cell in Nokia 1.4, which still has only 5W charging through a micro-USB port. Nokia has promised up to 2 days of battery life.
As mentioned earlier, the Nokia 1.4 is already up for sale for €99.
