Samsung Galaxy S11 isn’t coming until next year, but the rumors and leaks are already ramping up. If we look at the company’s yearly cycle, we can expect the next flagship by February 2020.

Currently, most of the speculations for the smartphone center around the camera and design that are already making the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 look out of date.

Previously, we heard that the Korean giant was testing a 5x periscope telephoto camera for the new S-series flagship and now, courtesy of a leaked HTML 5 browser test we have an idea of what S11’s display will look like.

The model being tested on HTML benchmarks is called SM-G416U. This is a placeholder name that Samsung is using for testing the new Galaxy S-series smartphone that is yet to be released. The leaked test reveals that the smartphone runs on Android 10, which was pretty much what we expected. The aspect ratio of the display, on the other hand, is what caught our eye.

Unlike the previously released S-series and Note-series that come with a 19:9 aspect ratio, this smartphone has a 20:9 aspect ratio and 384x854px resolution listed in the benchmark.

Other Samsung smartphones that feature this tall aspect ratio include Galaxy A80 and A70. The leaked tests don’t reveal the company’s plans regarding the tall aspect ratio and whether it will install a pop-up selfie mechanism or not. However, considering the pace of leaks and rumors surfacing on the internet, we will get to know sooner than later.
