Vivo India, after launching the Vivo Z1 in July, has just launched its beefed-up variant with a larger battery, 48 MP camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. From the looks of it, this budget buy is going to be a fan favorite.
Display-wise, we don’t see anything out of the ordinary. The smartphone features a typical 2019 smartphone glossy finish with the triple sensor rear camera vertically arranged on the top left.
The display is a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ (1080p+) resolution, waterdrop notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the internals, Vivo Z1X is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 712 chipset topped with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of built-in storage. The storage can be expanded via a dedicated SD card slot.
Software-wise, the smartphone runs on FunTouch OS 9.1 skinned Android 9.0 Pie. It also comes with support for “enhanced gaming experiences” which, during gaming, allocate resources to the game and also offer 4D in-game vibrations.
At the back, the Vivo Z1X features a triple sensor camera with a 48 MP primary lens, an 8 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP sensor for depth effects. The camera sensors feature night mode, live photo, slow-motion videos, AI beauty, HDR, etc.
For selfies, the smartphone features a 32 MP single sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
This mid-ranger is fueled by a 4500 mAh battery that is backed by 22.5 W charging.
The smartphone will be available for sale on 13th September at the following prices.
