World Champions, England, have started off the remainder of their summer season at home in a poor manner. Batting first against Ireland, England have been bowled out for less than a hundred runs.

It has been a fantastic morning for Ireland cricket, bowling out the English team for 85 in less than two hours in the first session.

Ireland fared brilliantly at the Home of Cricket in only their third test match, having made their debut against Pakistan last year. Frontline pacer, Tim Murtagh starred with the ball, bagging an impressive five-wicket haul. He will join an elite list of bowlers on Lord’s honor board with figures of 5/13.

England fielded three debutants including Jason Roy, Jack Leach, and Olly Stone. Mark Adair and Boyd Rankin played their part with the ball, picking three and two wickets respectively.
