Former West Indian captain, Darren Sammy, and former South African cricketer, Hashim Amla, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Peshawar Zalmi owner, Javed Afridi, and former Pakistan cricketer, Mohammad Akram, also accompanied the international stars during the meeting with COAS.

According to details, General Bajwa lauded Peshawar Zalmi’s head coach, Darren Sammy, and batting mentor, Hashim Amla, for playing a central role in bringing international cricket back to Pakistan.
Peshawar Zalmi’s coaching staff praised Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies for their sacrifices in improving the overall security situation of Pakistan.
