While Pakistan Navy has yet to formally unveil the secret submarine which the defense experts around the world have long been waiting for, an unintentional social media leak from the official Twitter account of the Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Pakistan Navy has revealed additional clues about the warship.
On 3 July, DGPR Pakistani Navy, Rear Admiral Arshid Javed, had uploaded a video of the passing out parade of the Pakistan Navy’s Special Service Group, known as the SSG (N), held at the PNS Iqbal in Karachi, the naval base that serves as the training and operating headquarters of the SSG (N).

During the initial 3 seconds of the video, the mystery submarine is visible in the background. Though covered in tarpaulins, defense experts were quick to recognize the unmistakable shape.

The tarpaulin covering the front of the submarine is a light beige color while the one over the back is a faded red.
Satellite imagery of the PNS Iqbal from 3 July has also corroborated claims of the defense experts.

There is a casing running along the top of the hull which appears to be designed to cover cylindrical tubes, most probably torpedo tubes. This detail suggests the latest submarine has been designed after drawing inspiration from the Pakistan Navy’s existing three Cosmos class submarines, Cosmos MG-110, which have torpedo tubes in exactly the same place as the new warship.
Moreover, experts suggest that the mystery submarine that is 55 feet long and 8 feet wide and will be used to conduct Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
