Oppo is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the successor of Oppo Find X2, somewhere in the first quarter of 2021. As 2020 comes to an end, leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming flagship are picking up pace.

The most recent leak, announced via the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, reveals that the smartphone will flaunt new camera tech. Reportedly, the smartphone OEM has tested a new dual main camera system using a custom Sony IMX7xx camera sensor with a larger CMOS bottom and higher pixel count. The Find X2 successor will supposedly debut with the new camera system.

Apart from this, the leak suggests that the smartphone will feature a whopping 3K display resolution with a high refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 Mobile Platform that will launch later this year. In terms of battery charging, the device will come with support for 65W Super Flash Charging technology, even though the company unveiled its 125W charging tech a few months ago. It will run Android 11 with ColorOS 7.2 custom user interface on top.

The company’s Vice President, Liu Bo, has confirmed that they are ready to launch the flagship device in the first quarter of 2021, which means somewhere between January and March.
