The court will conduct the hearings of complaints and cases against children below the age of 18 and will pass verdicts on such matters within six months of each case.

The SHC had collaborated with a civil society organization called ‘Group Development Pakistan (GDP)’ to transform the juvenile court premises into a child-friendly area that will be calming and stress-reducing. The court is also equipped with toys and books to help juvenile delinquents deal with pain and mental trauma in a stress-free environment.
