Instead of just presenting you with “this tweet is unavailable”, Twitter will soon start explaining the context behind missing tweets in your conversations.
There are a number of reasons why you can stumble on a tweet that is unreadable. While Twitter didn’t go into any details about it, they did mention that those posts may have been deleted, are marked as protected, or contain keywords that have been muted by the user.
We're fixing the issue where you see so many "This Tweet is unavailable" notices in conversations. This is usually due to deleted or protected Tweets, or muted keywords.
In a few weeks, you'll start seeing more context on each notice to help explain why Tweets are unavailable. https://t.co/0iW8Eclwvg

“In a few weeks, you’ll start seeing more context on each notice to help explain why Tweets are unavailable,” the company added.
This new feature should help resolve some confusion on the user’s part when you’re trying to look for a conversation on Twitter, only to find out that it is missing without any clarification.
Along with these changes, Twitter is also experimenting with ways to make it easier to follow up replies on the platform. People tagged in the original tweet will have a small “@” icon, while the original poster will have a microphone icon shown on their profile picture.
Not only will this make it easier to follow up on tweets, but it will also make it easier to find the original poster’s reply from scam accounts.
